After finding 425 pieces of calibre UT 176 from 1951 in their warehouse, Armand Nicolet introduced the L06 line. Continuing the evolution of the first Limited Edition, L06 utilizes as its base a movement of Small Seconds UT 176 (300 pieces in the version with 18 rubies and 125 pieces in the version with 17 rubies) that has been elaborated giving it more modern and refined technical characteristics. The application of the shock absorber was integrated with the Swan Neck mechanism of adjustment. The movements have been finely decorated & have gold engravings and blue poli screws that stand out in the splendid finishing of the rhodium plating of the plate and of the bridges. All the technical refinement given to the first Limited Edition has been enhanced, by skilfully skeletonizing the balance zone and making the movement revealed through a beautiful framed opening created on the fine decorated dial. We also wanted to revise the classical aesthetics by lightly retouching the lines in a more modern version adding diverse combinations of materials and colours.
The 425 movements of the L06 are assembled & shared in 5 series.

We looked further into the original factory hand-written records and there they do show a batch of gold plated Ref. 806 that includes YOUR serial number. So at the end of the batch of watches from serial number 867779 to 868828 there were a few that they gold plated. Hope this helps!
